GLACIER NATIONAL PARK
Created in 1910, Glacier National Park provides over one million acres of
habitat and protection for a wonderful variety of wildlife and wildflowers.
Historic lodges preserve the ambience of nineteenth century travel for
twentieth century visitors. Going To The Sun highwy labeled as "the most
scenic highway in America" crosses through the center of the Park.
HUNGRY HORSE DAM
Located just 4 miles from the Crooked Tree, Hungry Horse Dam is a 564-foot tall concrete arch,
and was the third highest dam in the world when it was completed in 1953. Hungry Horse Reservoir
provides execellent outdoor recreation opportunities such as: boating, fishing, wildlife viewing, and
some of the best huckleberry picking in the world.
FLATHEAD LAKE

Located just 25 miles from the
Crooked Tree, Flathead Lake is the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi. Flathead Lake
provides excellent fishing, beautiful scenery, and is the home of the famous sweet cherry crop.
BIG MOUNTAIN

Located
just 22 miles from the Crooked Tree, Big Mountain is both a winter and summer resort. It offers
hiking, lift rides , and spectacular views into Glacier National Park, Canada, and overlooking
Flathead Lake.
BIG SKY WATERSLIDE
Located just 4 miles from the Crooked Tree, the Big Sky Waterslide fun for the whole
family including waterslides, hot tubs, swimming, and miniature golf.
GLACIER MAZE

Located
just 2 miles from the Crooked Tree, the Glacier Maze offers a unique opportunity for family
fun, including the maze, mini golf, bank basketball, and bumper boats.
