Country Chapel Statement of Belief

Recognizing that the right and privilege of persons to church membership rests upon the fact of their being regenerated,
we declare openly such beliefs as are essential to Christian experience.

WE BELIEVE:

In one God: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Ghost.
That the Old and New Testament Scriptures are given by plenary inspiration

and contain all truth necessary to faith and Christian living.

That atonement through Jesus Christ is for the whole human race and

whosoever repents and believes on the LORD JESUS CHRIST is justified

and regenerated and saved from the dominion of sin.

Whosoever finally rejects the LORD JESUS CHRIST is hopelessly and eternally lost in hell.
That the HOLY SPIRIT bears witness to the new birth of believers.
That our Lord will return. The dead will be raised. A final judgment will take place.

We engage therefore, by the aid of the HOLY SPIRIT;

To walk together in Christian love;
To strive for the advancement of the church in knowledge, holiness and comfort;
To promote its prosperity and spirituality;
To sustain its worship;
To contribute cheerfully and regularly to the expenses of the church and the spread of the GOSPEL to all people
