My infatuation with Leelee that I've spoken of lately has brought up all these love emotions that I experience (or should I say want to experience) so rarely. Well.. I've been hanging out with other people who are infatuated with leelee (on a msg board), and they have said some things that I've been trying to say for quite some time, but never could find the words. Maybe you feel the same way, maybe not.
For some guys, they want the "bad" girls. For other guys, they want the "good" girls. Some want maturity, some want immaturity. Some want good looks, don't care about a brain. Others want just a brain, while others want both. Some guys want to kiss, some want to do more. Some want to spend time with a girl, while others just want to keep her behind a door. Some guys like a girl only as a possession, while others actually love. Some guys, like me, just want a girl to treat correctly. To lift up, to hold when they're down, to help them forget their worries, to give a massage when they're hurting, to hold and let go asleep in their arms, to wake them up with a kiss in the morning, to bring a smile to their face when they're sad or mad, and to wipe their tears away even when you're the one that accidentally caused them. But most importantly, some guys want a girl to do the same for them, to love them back just the same. To put aside the petty playfulness that comes with young love, and grow up, take a stand for your "man" and really, honestly, truthfully love the guy who loves them with every part of their heart.
Love has no fear, no shame, no threat of ever caring about hurting someone else's feelings to make your love feel better. No threat of ever being gone, betrayed, conquered, or normal. Love is always new, lovely, lavish, wonderful, and regretfully mortal. And oh so very lovely. So lovely that you'll not care about your own worries, only care about your love's, and live your life that much better because your body, mind, and soul are at peace….finally.
I'll be honest - the first thing I noticed about Leelee was her looks. The difference is, I was attracted to her beauty and radiance...not in the way many people lust and fantasise over overblown sexual magnets like Pamela Anderson, Carmen Electra, Catherine Zeta-Jones etc, but as pure, stunning young women who's face always reminds me of an angel.
I'll also be honest in saying that I am deeply attracted to her physically, but it is her personality and aura that ultimately is why I admire her. Personally, I prefer mature girls, and Leelee's whole "grown-up" attitude and presence, along with her cultured life and interests, which I have a lot in common, is also why I follow her.
Why do I rate her above all other actresses? Simply because she is the best ingenue actress in the film industry today. As i've said many times before, she is not another stereotypical teen starlet...but an artist, and one who is defining her own path in her promising career, not like most other young so-called actresses today.
Hauntingly, she resembles a young Robert De Niro - my all time favourite actor. Like Leelee, De Niro had dedicated artists as parents, and grew up in New York. The parallels are quite amazing...both De Niro and Leelee gradually "fell" into acting, which wasn't a option for them to begin with. They also both started out in small, experimental, supporting roles, gradully building a reputation. Although they both grew up in different eras, the main comparison between these two is that they strive to be artists - they are dedicated to their craft, and personal glory, publicity and profile comes second.
In the huge world of internet, television and media, I can understand Leelee becoming involved in publicity and the celebrity world - De Niro was so much more shyer. But what she does retain is that unquestioanable talent and attitude that seperates her from her peers...the defining reason why I greatly look up too her.
