About.. the site

Agon made a new design for me.. so.. yeah..

OLD OLD OLD
I got bored a couple weeks ago and went to my ISP home page (CenturyTel). They had started to give free web space to all their clients. So I figured I could find something to do with a measly 5mb, and here it is in all it's glory =P Me talking about my life whenever I feel like updating. Interesting eh? heh. Also it's a collection of whatever I decide to make when I get bored. Often this stuff is very ch. That about sums it up. Oh, and the page title comes from a Douglas Adams book, of course. It just happened to fit so I used it, and I love the Hitchhiker series, as if you couldn't tell.

Anyway, as you can probably tell, there's no fancy pants html involved in my web page designing style. Some people like every web site they go to be p1mped out and take 234 years to load on a 56k, but not me. I think that kinda stuff is appropriate in some cases, but certainly not in my personal web page. Plus I suck at web design so I couldn't do it if I wanted to. In case anyone's interested, here's some infomration about how this page was constructed:
HTML Editor: Arachnophilia - has a bunch of stuff for "I don't know any HTML" people, but I just use it because it's tag coloring feature makes it easy to distinguish what's html code and what's actual content so I dont have to go on a treasure hunt every time I want to update my stuff. Oh and it has this neat keyboard macro thing built in so i can just hit alt-d and the whole Tuesday, October 03, 2000 17:14:23 dealie is done automatically.

Flash Editor: Macromedia Flash 4 - well, duh. No self respecting flash making type person would use adobe livemotion. Wasn't really used in the page design, but I do use it more than any other design tool.
I guess there's not as much to it as I thought there might be. All my HTML knowledge is self-taught, although I only really know the basics and a little more, which is all you need to know to run a site like this without using some ubercomplicated piece of crap like Microsoft Frontpage or some ubercomplicated not such a piece of crap like Macromedia Dreamweaver.
