About Leaf Rapids Manitoba
Leaf Rapids is a small mining town built in the mid 1970's. The mine has since closed but the town remains open to a local popluation of about 500 who welcome vacationers. There is a town center which holds a grocery store, drug store, school, library, post office and exhibition center. If you are looking to eat out every night consider the picnic table in the backyard since there are no restaurants open at this time.
