i was moving along jist above the surface...
very comfortable in my sittin' not fearful
of losing my balance... as if on maybe an
aladdin magic carpet maybe... there were
others on the carpet with me... i think
[P] too... we were kind of hangin' together...
as the magic carpet moved fairly fast... out
over the sea... the sea waves were many and
very blue... lookin' angry at times... the
carpet flew low over the water... pickin' up
speed... we flew first this way... then
veared a little to fly that way... we were so
low... and the vision so magnificant and
powerful of the rough and spiritually strong
moving sea waves... that it seem to be scary
to me.. i was sometimes beginnin' to be
frightened of what i imagined might be comin'
up out of the sea... on and on we flew over
the rough and rugged sea... tackin' left and
right... with sometimes dark objects down
there to my left... sometimes to the right...
till finally we approached land... comin' up
to the shore line... then onto the shore...
and as the magic carpet slowed down to a stop...
i was noticin' a couple of men wearin' white like
caps... with desert like cloth hangin' down from
the back of the cap... as might be used to
protect the neck from blowin' sand... such a
neat feelin'... a watchin' 'em bring the magic
carpet in for a slowin' stop halt...
now while durin' the sea journey... i remembered
that i used to have dreams... in which i was
standin' and there would... be rise above and
'round me... like an ocean of water... jist
up to my feet... but i always was ok... jist
a standin' there on a strip of narrow sand...
in one dream with i thought holdin' rebecca
by the hand... protectin' her dear... in other
dreams jist that there rose 'bout me water...
till i was surrounded by it... and i seemed
always to be git a fear of what might arise...
from 'neath those waters out there... could
not git over the feelin' of "some things"...
could might be lurkin' out there 'neath that
sea water... fearful things they might be...
and dear... as the magic carpet 'proached the
shore line... i got the most powerful feelin'...
of "the journey had come to an end"... after
a very fearsome and movin' sea voyage... and felt
quite a relief... that the sea journey was over
at last...
What is the purpose of the journey?
You are each on a journey to deepen the level of consciousness of your
spiritual self. Each is attempting to reach inside to find your own truths
for things you have found unfulfilled in the world outside yourself. You are
attempting to shed the knowledge learned in this lifetime that has not
served you, and build your own store of knowledge and truths that do serve
to bring you happiness and peace, and that bring you closer in harmony with
yourself and the world around you.
How long does this journey take?
This is a never-ending journey, but inner peace and harmony, although not
perfect, can be reached to a point of fulfillment. There is always more to
learn and experience and share. You should not compare progress. Each person
progresses at their own pace, and each has learned things which can be
useful to the others.
Is there a specific route the journey takes?
The route you take to your personal fulfillment isn't important. It is
reaching the level of fulfillment you desire that is important. The goal is
important.
What do you mean when you say that we are slow learners?
You impede your progress by working against instead of with each other.
The conflicts and discord distract, and slow the natural progression. You
often use the example of the flowing river and of going with the current,
not fighting against it. You fight against the current many times. You have
each made a pledge to help the others. You lose sight of this pledge.
Why do we get the lessons, or what [B] refers to as the "side tour\butt
kicking"?
You all lose sight at one time or another of what you are trying to
accomplish. At times the lessons are to right you. At other times the
lessons are assistance from the guides to help you on your journey.
What are our jobs or duties on this journey?
Each of you has strengths. [P] and [C] have strength in insight. They are
developing their skills in channeling to the source of knowledge. [B] has
strength in action; in thinking and speaking. You would do well to respect
each other in their strengths and learn from them. They will be a great help
to all of you.
Will there be any surprises on the journey?
There will be much that is unexpected. This is the nature of the learning
process. I cannot tell you what the unexpected will be. There are many
variables and many paths to take. Still you will reach the goal if you are
heartfelt in your search.
