The Great Awakening "...matey, this rocking boat is itching to set sail onto the high seas!!!... so... where will we go?... what adventures will we have?... what strange and wondrous sights will we see?... Odysseus has nothing on us with that paltry little "Odyssey" of his!!!... come on, help your fellow sailors to prove that is what we are going to do!!!... follow mate, grab hold of an oar or a rope and lets heave this rig out of here..." |

For the life of me I couldn't shake the very subtle pleasant feeling inside myself last night while watching television and on until I went to bed. It was so subtle that I could hardly notice it was there, but there it was and I liked it! It felt like something good and wonderful was going to happen, something I wanted very much to be a part of, something I wanted to share with all my friends as they shouldn't miss any of it for all the world. Yet I didn't have a clue as to what was going on here. As usual I just have to ride it out and find out what just like everyone else. This morning just before waking I had the most pleasant thought in the form of a sentence which seemed to me to encapsulate something very important and I was thinking this is going to be really nice to write about. But when I actually got fully awake with my eyes open and sitting on the edge of the bed about to get up all I could remember was something about sand and the Gobi Desert and I was left wondering what does sand and the Gobi Desert have to do with anything? So as usual I realized that its important and as usual I will just have to wait and see what it means just like everyone else. Later as I sat down before my computer I began to realize I was ready to write. And as is usually my way I was impulsed to search on YouTube about the theme of a cable movie I saw a couple days ago, one I very much liked. Immediately I found what I was impulsed to find and so I opened this scene with it and again instantly knew that it was "right on". My feelings soared as I listened to the music and watched the scenes unfold before my very eyes. And shocked I see sand and what could easily be the Gobi Desert too and thought now how cool is that! |
