Reunions
WPHS 1953
The 55-year reunion of the West Plains High School class of 1953 will take place July 12.
The event will begin with a breakfast at 9 a.m. and end with a banquet at 6 p.m., both at the West Plains Country Club.

Cousins, Friends
All descendants of Moore, Estes, Short, Duke, Manry, Orr, McCord, Godwin and Martin are invited to a cousins and friends reunion July 11 and 12, created by Coach Orwell Moore, owner and coach of the “All American Red Heads,” one of the first professional women’s basketball teams.
The event will begin at 4 p.m. July 11 at the Family Life Center at First Baptist Church of Cherokee Village, Ark. Supper will be at 6 p.m., cost about $5. There will be reminiscing, visiting, sharing pictures and stories.
Family will gather again at noon July 12, with the evening meal at 6, cost about $6.50.
A program will be presented by Larry Duke, and bingo will be played after the meal.
Meals are provided by Eddie and Alisa Black.
A gym will be available.
