Welcome to the 1st WARDS Tractor website!

(the 1st one that I know of)

This website was created to discuss the history of my family's tractors and to help incorouge other WARDS tractors owners in the restoration stage.  I will post as much information as I know about these tractors and add any new info sent in by you.  I can't say we know all there is to know about them but we know a little bit.  There are many others out there that know much more about the production histories, options and serial numbers.  I hope to compile their contact information for your reference as the website grows.

Feel free to contact me with any additional information you might have about these tractors that were built way ahead of their time.  Also, please send photos of your tractors along with your name and tractor info and I will place them on the website.

A Montgomery Wards Farm Tractor

Other than the missing right rear tire, this is how this tractor sat from 1991 to 2003.

The Wards was not the 1st tractor to take on it's design.  It was preceeded by the CO-OP Model B.  Those were followed bythe Custom Models B & C.  During that time, you could get the Custom by the names of Lehr's Big Boy, Regal Custom (Canadian) and the Rockol(Canadian).  Another very similar tractor was the Simpson Jumbo Models B & C.

I will try to compile an outline of dates when the various brands were available.  As for now, I just wanted to get the website up and running and I will work on it as I have time.

Thank you!

Thanks for visiting the WARDS Website and come back to see more updates!
