Steve's Car Picture Page

This is my 1966 Ford Mustang.  The first car I ever bought.  It is pictured in the farmer's field the day I bought it.  The price: $40
In Progress picture.
Finished Product!
I also had a yellow 1966 Mustang, but currently am not able to find a picture of it.
While in high school, I bought a 1970 Buick Skylark for $75.  It was a fast car - 350 with a 4 barrel carb.  The problem with it was that it was a 4 door, an ugly color and starting to rust.

The picture to the left was not my car, but that is what it looked like.  It is even the same butt ugly color.

In September of 1988, I bought this 1984 Bronco II.  This was a fun vehicle to have.
When I got married, Rachelle drove a 1982 Mercury LN7.
Kevin and I bought this Ford EXP for parts. The hood went on the LN7. One winter in North Dakota, I was driving and the hood flew up on me and bent it. Oops!
In the spring of 1991, we bought a first camper. It was a 1977 Free Spirit. It was a 17 ft travel trailer. I originally pulled it with the Bronco II. That was quite a load for the 2.8L V6.

Since the LN7 did not have a back seat, we had to get something different when Kyle was born. We sold the LN7 and bought a 1979 Ford F150 Ranger XLT extended cab short box from Rachelle's Dad.

We went without a car payment for quite a few years, but the salt in the winter will eventually force you to get something new. In January, 1997, I sold the 1979 Ford and bought a 1992 Ford F150 XLT extended cab short box 4X4. I was lucky enough to buy it as a reposessed vehicle from the bank, so I got a good deal.

In the Spring of 1998, we (Rachelle) decided that we should get a new camper. We bought a 1998 Jayco 25 foot 5th wheel camper. It is absolutely perfect for us and we love it.

In May, 1999, I finally broke down and bought Rachelle a car. She had been struggling with the Bronco II for quite a few years. I think one of the last straws was when It just died 95 miles away from home on the Interstate. The Distributor cap broke at 70 mph as I was passing a car. What a lovely site. Cell phones are wonderful! Here is a picture of the Bronco II the morning of the day we traded it in.

We traded the Bronco II in for a 1998 Mercury Sable.
Here is a current picture of the 1992 F150 with over 223,000 miles on it.
Rachelle didn't like the Sable too much because she said it was too low to the ground.  So I let here pick out a vehicle and she picked a 2002 Pontiac Montana.
Rachelle made me do it.  I finally have the truck I always wanted.  It is a 2003 F250.
