| In 1494, the first white person discovered St. John’s, Newfoundland. St. John’s was named after John Cabot. In 1582, pirates came to St. John’s. The pirates’ names were Henry Oughtred, and Sir John Perrot. It is the newest province in Canada. I would like to go to St. John’s some day. |
