"Mom! Dad! I got it! I finally got it! I got my letter from Hogwarts!"
Hi, I'm Shane Smith and I just got my letter from Hogwarts. It said:
Hogwarts School of Witchcrafts
and Wizardry Head Master Sirius Black
Dear Mr. Smith,
You have been accepted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. First
years are not permitted their own broom. Term starts September the 1st. The
Hogwarts' Express will depart from the Kriss-Kross Station at 11 o'clock from
platform 6 1/2. We await your reply by owl.

Oh boy, I can't wait
to get my supplies. I need:
1 Standard size 2 pewter cauldron
1 basic set of beginners potion ingredients
1 wand and lots of other stuff I can't list
We went to Wandcrack Alley to get my supplies. We got all my things, except my wand, at Sagin Bagin Bary's super store mall. Soon after, we went to Mooney-Moon Wands. It's owned by Mr. Moonface. I think he's a little bit crazy. He had me try lots of wands, but soon I found the one that was right for me. It was a Unicorn-Tailhair 14 inches.
It took no time at all for September the 1st to arrive. Mother and father drove me to the train station. When we got there, they kissed me good-bye and I was off for my first year at Hogwarts. I know I'll have lots of fun.
