Blue Spruce!
· Full Grown Size: The Blue Spruce can grow
up to 100 ft.-120 ft. tall. The largest blue spruce ever recorded was
126 ft. tall and 5 ft. in diameter!
· Bark: The bark of a blue spruce is similar to the white
spruce except it is more brittle and knotty, it grows in "hard
to get to" places, and is not used for building or making things
because of its knots!

get to 2-4 in. long. They are light brown to yellow. The cones have
pointed jagged tips!

1/4 in. long, it is yellowish-green to blue sometimes white. The needles
are sharp/pointy and they have a bitter, acidic taste.
· Uses: The blue spruce is used as an ornament; it also
makes a good Christmas tree!
· Animals that use it: birds and small rodents!
· Modern day uses: not used for anything except for Christmas
trees and decoration because of its knotty bark!
