“Switched!” I waited sleepily for the day to end. We were putting
the instruments away when the bell rang Ally and I headed to our lockers.
Then we waited for my mom on the bench out side. When we got home we decided to ride our bikes around
town. I wanted to show Ally a machine I saw in Mr. Sinclair’s garage.
He lives in a 1 _ story house, it has a green metal roof and is wood colored.
The garage is a little less that 100 ft. away form his house. We went into the garage and played with Hoku for about
10 min. Hoku is a black dog with a medium build, blue eyes and medium
long hair. Ally sat down in a chair and Hoku went into a cage and rested.
I was looking for and outlet for the machine when I Tripped over a bucket and hit a button. There was a rumble sound and a flash of light! When it
was done I went to go check on Hoku, Ally was looking odd. Her tongue
was hanging out and she started to crawl on the floor. Hoku was standing
with a scared look on her face and started barking like crazy. I think
I just switched Ally’s life with my teacher’s dog!!! I didn’t know what to do and I didn’t have
much time. I’m barley passing in science so how can I fix a machine.
While trying to keep “Ally” from eating a wooden table and
trying to keep “Hoku” from biting my arm off, I didn’t
know what to do! I dragged “Ally” over to the chair and shoved
“Hoku” into the cage then pushed a lot of buttons. They worked!
Ally was about to strangle me when we heard a car pull up, Ally, Hoku,
and I ran out side. Ally stopped, “do you smell that?” “
Smell what?” “ That squirrel, I can’t believe you didn’t
smell that squirrel!” Hoku was staring at a tree, which really made
me wonder if they were back to normal. Oh well, I asked Ally what it was like to be dog, “it’s
weird, I didn’t walk much cause it’s hard to walk on 4 legs,
but if you ever change me into anything but me I’LL KILL YOU!!!!” When we got home my mom asked what we did, “NOTHING” we both said in accord. We ran up to my room and stayed there for the rest of the night. We swore never to tell anyone of our adventure. |
