1954- Stephen Ray Vaughan was born Oct.3 Methodist Hospital in Dallas. Stevie’s parent’s names are Jim and Martha Vaughan.1970- one night while Stevie was working in a Dallas burger joint called Dairy Mart. Part of his job is cleaning the trash bins out.

He was standing on the grease barrel slipped and he fell into the barrel of grease up to his chest. Then after that he went on to playing the guitar. In 1972 Stevie joins the band called Cracker Jack (a rock band). 1973-Marc Benno offers Stevie to join the band Night Crawlers.

1974-Stevie joins the Cobras (A very popular Austin band). 1977- The Cobras won “Band of the Year Award” in Austin music poll. 1978-W.C. Clark leaves the band with the replacement of a Jackie Newhouse. 1982-Stevie and Double Trouble played a semi private party for the Rolling Stones in New York’s dance teria April 22.

1983- Texas Flood, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble released their first album on June 6. On Jan.30, 1990 Steve performs three songs on “MTV Unplugged.” On Aug.26 after the encore he boarded a chopper Stevie Ray Vaughan is killed. He is buried in a ceremony at Laural Land Cemetary in Dallas, Texas on Aug. 31.
