SATURDAY'S BASS CLUB

LIMITS - 5 fish only

All largemouth bass must measure to the minimum lake limit or 12 inches, whichever is smaller, measured on a

flat board. Kentuckies or spotted bass must be at least 12 inches or lake limit if it is larger. Spots must be

presented separately and verified before weighing

At least one partner must be on the bank at the time of weigh in.

LATE PENALTY=1 POUND PER MINUTE (15 minutes=disqualification)

Tournament payback will be as follows:

80% of the entry fees will be paid back each tournament with 45% for first, 35% for second, and 20% for

third for 12 or more contestants. With 10 or less contestants, pay back will be 60% for first and 40% for second.

Members should not normally fish more than once together for the calendar year.

Any boater who is paired with a no-boater and arrives after starting time will be disqualified unless his

partner has been notified in advance

Member will be allowed to trailer to any place on the tournament lake, but must still leave the designated

starting point in the order drawn and return to this point at quitting time. All boats must fish the same pool

of water. Each partner will be allowed the front of the boat and to fish where he desires for 1/2 of the tourna-

ment hours.

Only artificial baits may be used. (pork rind is allowed)

Trolling will not be allowed at any time.

Four consecutive missed tournaments may infer withdrawal from membership.

In case of ties for the 6-man State Federation team, the total weight for the year will determine the winner.

Federation money will be divided equally between the top six team. If one of the top 6 can't go, he will forfeit his place

and money to the next lower position who is available and qualified to fish. Money amount will be determined each

year. Alternates may also attend the tournament at their discretion.

All prizes won by the 6-man team are the State Federation tournament will be the property of that team. The club will be re-imbursed

expenses incurred by the tournament winning team.

In order to equalize boaters who get paired with boater, the following format will be used:

Boaters who have been paired with a no-boater in two(2) consecutive tournaments

which they entered will be placed in an "EXEMPT" pile for the partner drawing in the

next tournament

Boaters who are "exempt" may defer from the "EXEMPT" pile if they wish

The other boaters will be drawn & paired with no-boaters

(4)

If there are remaining no-boaters, they will be paired with "EXEMPT" boaters

(5)

Absentees will not be counted as a non-paired boater

A dead fish penalty of .25 pounds will be assessed for each dead fish brought to the scales

No culling of dead fish is allowed

A $20 reimbursement will be paid to the member attending the quarterly state Federation meetings

Junior Members - Those members under the age of sixteen(16), must be paired with either a Senior Member

(over 40 years old) or a Veteran Member ( 5+ years membership). Any Veteran or Senior member will have

the opportunity to remove their name from the list. After a probationary period, Junior members will be

evaluated on their fishing skills & conduct to continue their membership in the club.

Culling - No more than five (5) fish belonging to any one angler can be in the live well at any one time

any culling must be done prior to resuming fishing. Penalty - loose biggest fish weight

Prohibit the use of cell phone or other communication device to gather fishing information during a

tournament. General communication with non-members, club officers or emergency situations

would be allowed. Penalty - Disqualification

Insurance - All boaters must have current liability insurance in the amount of no less than $300,000.

All boaters must submit a copy of their policy to the secretary, which will then be kept on file

Guests - Members have the option to bring a "guest" to club tournaments. The "guest" cannot compete

for cash or points and all fish caught must be immediately released back to the water. This "guest" program

should be limited to no more than twice per season and must be declared at the club meeting preceding

the tournament.
