Local Food for Local Families
Rivendell Ranch Organic Veggies
Delicious, fresh, and hand-picked: from our farm to your table.

Direct from our gardens to you: open pollinated, heirloom salad greens, vegetables, and herbs are hand-picked at their peak of ripeness the morning you receive them.

No pesticides, herbicides, poisons, chemical fertilizers, genetically engineered seed, or other artificial additives. All fertiliers are manures and organic materials grown right here.

YES! I'd like to purchase a share of the 2005 Harvest at Rivendell Ranch Organic Farm.

How It Works

Community-Shared Agriculture, or CSA, cuts out the middlemen and partners you directly with your farmer. First, you buy a share of the harvest for the annual growing season. Then, once a week, starting in May and lasting through the end of October, you collect your harvest box of absolutely fresh produce at a pick-up location (Aberdeen Farmers Market, or at the farm).

Read more about CSA at Seattle Tilth.

Really, Truly Fresh
Your veggies are field-ripened, picked at the peak of maturity, and are delivered to your pick-up location that same day. This is the only way to offer really fresh food.

Organically Grown
Farming the "old fashioned" way, with feet on the ground, your veggies are raised in hand-tended beds, with no synthetic chemical fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, poisons, or genetically-modified seeds or organisms.

Visit the Farm
Bring the kids and visit the gardens. There are 160 acres of pastures, meadows, and timber.

Price
Single Share $450 (for 1-2 people)
Family Share $780 (for 3-4 people)

Deep in the forest, at the end of the road, lie 160 acres of pasture, meadow, trees, and creeks. Will you wander the woods listening to the wind? ...the birds? ...the grass growing? -- or perhaps, wander the meadow listening to the shadows and the mist. Will you set up a tent? -- or build something for the season, or two. Join me for coffee, visit for a weekend, stay until you're ready to hear the noise of your city again.
