ABOUT ME

I recently wrote the book Let the Children Come, based on scripture in Matthew 19:14 that says “Let the children come to me and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” It is a book for parents, grandparents, and church workers to use in developing the spiritual aspects of the child’s personality. It is an effort on my part to serve our Lord by writing material that will help lead others to Christ.

I came to know the Lord before I started first grade and have never doubted my salvation. When I asked God to save me, I surrendered to His will and have tried to fulfill that promise throughout my life. Of course, I have made mistakes, but can truthfully say as the song title, “Jesus Led Me All the Way”. I have had a life of adventure, and have had many wonderful (and some not so wonderful) experiences. Now that I am in the autumn of my life, I am serving God through my writing. I currently write a column for several local newspapers titled, “Train Up a Child”.
