Hi... this is an older photo of me with a nice wild steelhead I caught on the Salmon River. (I released it). For my entire life, fish have been, and still are, my recreation and my avocation. My career as a Fishery Biologist for the Idaho Department of Fish & Game provided for my family. The rivers and streams where I worked fed my soul. Like the man says: fish...have been bery, bery, good to me.
This photo was taken in July 2005. I keep getting older. There doesn't seem to be anything I can do about it. I can't even slow it down.
This is my whitewater jet boat, the OUZEL. It is an economic black hole. But what the hell...you can't take it with you...right?
