style='font-size:14.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt'> was born before 1755 to unknown parents at this point.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>  </span>He could have been the youngest of Richard and Sarah Blake Wayte s children or he could have been the oldest child of the two older sons, John and James.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>  </span>Both men were old enough to be married by 1755, but it is highly unlikely because both men left a will listing their children.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>  </span>John s will listed both living and deceased children and their widows.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>  </span>James s will only lists a few children by name, but he states that he had eleven children and there were eleven children listed on the paper that was included in the Family Bible that Howard Wayt has and there is not a Richard listed among them.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>  </span><o:p></o:p></span></p> <p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:14.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt'><o:p>&nbsp;</o:p></span></p> <p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:14.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt'>We know that Richard had married Anne by 1775 because their daughter Elizabeth was born that year, this was determined using her census records in </span><st1:State><st1:place><span style='font-size:14.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt'>South Carolina</span></st1:place></st1:State><span style='font-size:14.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt'>.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>  </span>In June 2007, I found a listing of Culpeper men who were on the rolls for the draft in the summer of 1781.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>  </span>A Richard Wait was listed as getting the draft for his group of men.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>  </span>The list was to be of men over the age of 17 and under the age of 50 so I believe that this is a confirmation of young Richard.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>  </span>His father was 73 at this time and should not have been listed on the rolls at all due to age.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>  </span>I also find that the father Richard was reimbursed in the spring of 1782 for his material support of the war.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>  </span>Young Richard was also dead by 1788 because Anne has already remarried a Mr. Jones at that time.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>  </span>This fact was listed in her father s will, Thomas Graves of </span><st1:place><st1:City><span style='font-size:14.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt'>Culpeper</span></st1:City><span style='font-size: 14.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt'>, </span><st1:State><span style='font-size: 14.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt'>Virginia</span></st1:State></st1:place><span style='font-size:14.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt'>.<o:p></o:p></span></p> <p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:14.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt'><o:p>&nbsp;</o:p></span></p> <p style='font-size:14.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt'>Laurens</span></st1:City><span style='font-size:14.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt'>, </span><st1:State><span style='font-size:14.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt'>South Carolina</span></st1:State></st1:place><span style='font-size: 14.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt'> with her brother Lewis, her sisters Elizabeth and Frances.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>  </span>She is listed on a land deed document with Lewis Graves and Zachariah Sims in August of 1789.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>  </span>Zachariah is her sister Elizabeth s husband.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>  </span>The next deed to list her is the 1802 will of Ann Starnes of </span><st1:place><st1:City><span
