Maria Antoinette Waite and Washington G. Singleton

Maria Antoinette Waite was born about 1800 in Winchester, Virginia to Obediah Waite and Mary Ann Harrison. She married Washington G. Singleton on April 26, 1823 in Winchester, Virginia. She died after the 1870 Census when she is in the household of her cousin Dr. James Y. Waite in Monroe Co., West Virginia with her daughters George Ann and Josephine. Dr. James Y. Waite was the son of Joseph Leavell Waite, Obediah’s brother.

Washington G. Singleton was born in 1798, the son of Joshua and Nancy Alynne Singleton of Virginia. He was a prominent lawyer in Winchester, a US Attorney for the Western District of Virginia, and Clerk of the Superior Court of the Chancery. He died in 1866.

Alexander L./?C. - He was born in 1838.

Josephine - She was born about 1846 and died after 1870.

William Allen - He was born between 1841- 1843.
