A James LOBB was a <span class=SpellE>solier</span> in the Revolution &amp; died during the War...After the death of James <span class=SpellE>Lobb</span>,<em><span style='font-family: Arial'> the father of his widow, (*note it does not give the widow's given name!<span class=GramE>)<span style='font-style:normal'> </span></span></span></em>RICHARD WAYT of Culpeper, gave her a Negro girl &amp; that was the cause of the suit in Chancery Court of Virginia between Buckner <span class=SpellE>et.al</span><span class=GramE>. </span>and Wayt <span class=SpellE>et.al</span><span class=GramE>. </span>Also note that no date was given...to continue...&quot;This suit was decided about 2 years go in favor of the complainants and last year <span class=SpellE>Mrs</span> <span class=SpellE>Lobb</span> was dispossessed of the Negro girl now become a <span class=SpellE>coman</span> &amp; all her increase<span class=GramE>. </span>This event reduced her to such absolute poverty that the agent for the complainants gave her up all the profits which had been decreed in their favor<span class=GramE>. </span>GEORGE WAYT of </span><st1:City><st1:place><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Arial'>Albemarle</span></st1:place></st1:City><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Arial'> is brother to MRS.
