Making Tracks to Make New Friends

2003-2004

This year our class has a special opportunity to correspond with classes throughout the world!  What a fun and exciting way to learn about other people and the areas where they live!  We will correspond with our old friends in Lumberton, North Carolina, Mrs. Carter's class again this school year.  Our Flat Stanley will have an opportunity to visit Bay Harbor Islands, Florida.  We can't wait to see what great adventure Stanley will have in Florida.  And our class will exchange letters, emails and pictures with Mr. Seo and Mrs. Bong's class in Korea!  Wow, what a wonderful opportunity to learn about the other side of the world!  As the year progresses we hope to add others to our correspondence list.  Maybe your class would like to learn about our little world here in northeastern Wisconsin, send us an email!!    For our first project we will take pictures of our class in various parts of our school.

This is the second day of school.  The picture was taken at the front of our school.
Clowning around outside!  Do we look like bugs that got squished on the front of the bus?
Here we are in our school cafeteria.  Our lunch time starts at 11:20.   After we eat we go outside and hang out with our friends.

Since Wisconsin has beautiful colored leaves we will make bookmarkers for our friends using the pressed colored leaves.

Check back for future projects.
