WASHINGTON D.C.

SA MPLE - Current Passenger Issue Sample
Registrants have an option of getting this plate or one with the district's website in place of the slogan.  I understand that these are primarily on federal vehicles ("W" doesn't like the Taxation plates).  Nevertheless ... I am seeking one of each for my collection.

737-586 - Previous Passenger Issue
This plate was first issued in 1997.  Past general issues were very similar, with Washington DC and the slogan reversed.  Prior to "Celebrate & Discover", "A Capital City" was used as the slogan on the same looking base.

  INFORMATION AS OF:
June, 2002

SERVICE TESTEMONIAL:
Slow, and a wild goose chase.  I e-mailed the question/feedback page on the website, and after
having my e-mail rerouted many times (and getting e-mails saying this), I got a call on my cell phone at 7:00 am one day (how they got my cell number, I'll never know), asking if a TAXATION plate was okay, because it's all they have.  So, e-mail through the website and be patient and persistent, I guess.
