I created this website for my wife Maria (aka Merly) to document for our family and friends her battle with colon cancer.

In this website you'll find my personal journal documenting her every day struggles and triumphs with this disease.

You'll also find links to information that we found on the internet to help us better understand and deal with the disease.

There is also a page dedicated to the letters and emails that family, friends and people we haven't even met have sent to Maria.

Heavenly Father, remind us each day that, of all the gifts you give us, the greatest gift is love. It is not enough to share that love with those we hold dear. Open our hearts not to just those who are close to us, but to all humanity. Let us be slow to judge and quick to forgive. Let us show patience, empathy and love.
