Paint EngineOne of my absolute favorite filters is Fantastic Machines Paint Engine. You can get your free filter here. You install it into your plugin folder on your hard drive. It is probably best to reboot your computer after you install this program and the preset below. Here is a zip file of some great presets. Click here to down load. This zip of presets goes into your windows folder on your hard drive. Dont ask me why because I dont know. :)
Preset that I created and how to save it to your new filterOnce you get these installed I have created a preset of my own. Here is how you save it to paint engine. First you open up your PSP progam. Open up a new transparent image 100x100. Flood fill with a color of your choice. Go up to Effects then down to Plugin-filters. Now locate the Fantastic Machine, then over to paint engine. Click on it. Ok the filter should now be opened up on you PSP desktop. ![]() In the center/bottom of this filter window you will see Randomize and a window with a little arrow that says none in it. ![]() Click on that to make sure that you see the presets you installed are there. If they are not there, then most likely you didnt install them in the right spot, and will have to try again. This is what it should look like. ![]() Ok moving on to save my preset. Takes a few minutes but is well worth it.
In your opened window of Paint Engine put all the numbers in as close to what I have as possible. ![]() When you have them all in place, click on the save button and a new window will open up. Type in Granite and tell it ok. It will save the setting for future use. If you have any problems with this please Email me. |
