FILTER LOCATION

SET UP TUTORIAL

FOR PAINT SHOP PRO

I highly recomend that you read this Tutorial all the way through before you begin.

First off you want to make a new folder in your hard drive. Go to My Computer on your desk top then to "C" then to Program files. Make a new folder in program files and call it Plugins, or what ever you would like to call it.

From now on whenever you download a Filter/Plugin you will want to put them in this file.

Next we want to open up your Paint Shop Pro program.

Go up to File then down to Preferences and over to File Locations. A new box will open up.

Click on the Plug-in Filters tab. Next you want to locate the folder that you have downloaded your Filters/Plugins into. You do this by clicking on the Browse button. A new window will Open up and you Click on the Little plus next to My Computer then down to "C" then down to Program Files, click on the Plus sign next to Program Files. Now locate the folder that you made for your Filters/Plugins. Click on the name of the folder you created. This will Highlight the name of the folder and open it up. Click Ok and you are set. Please look at the next to Images to help you better understand.

You can check to make sure it is working right by Opening up a New Image. Does not matter if you use an Image or just a blank at this point. You are only checking to make sure it is working.

Now go up to Effects, then down to Plug-in Filters. If it is working it will show you the filters that you have now installed.

That is all there is to it. Simple huh!!
