General Coverage Receivers

 Some old, some new

Lafayette K-135 3 Tube Regen Receiver (1958-70)

I built this in 1965 my first kit. Looks are impressive.

Dial location doesn't matter, just tune until the thing stops squealing.

Wooden case hand crafted by N8GWN (Jim (1934-?)

Yaesu FRG-7 a early model (no fine tune) AM/CW/SSB receiver (1976-80)

Aquired from WB8LUH (Jim) he is still upset that I won't sell it back to him.

I love this receiver. If you look inside it's almost empty!

Lafayette KT-230 (1961-64)

Same as a HE-30 except in kit form. E-Bay buy.

Works great nice audio, Q multiplier, solid radio.

I beleive it was made by TRO-Kenwood.

Zenith 8G005(Y)T Trans-Oceanic Clipper (1946-1949)

Gave to me by Old Doc Saunders. I recapped unit.

This is a nice speciman of a quality vintage radio.

Zenith G-500 Trans-Oceanic (1950)

Gave to me by my Uncle Mike Kasky

Rebuilt this winter and is in beautiful condition.

MFJ Shortwave model 8100 regen receiver kit. (2000)

Useless as far as I am concerned.
