LOCAL IDEAS Inc.

 

     LOCAL IDEAS is a non-profit corporation applying for 501(c)(3) status. The LOCAL IDEAS acronym stands for: Logically Organic Community Acting Locally to Incorporate Designed Energy Alternatives for Sustainability.    Our purpose is to educate and facilitate our community to enable our citizens to become energy self-sufficient.   We will accomplish the educational phase of our mission mainly through the production of an educational for television series titled "The Patents Pending Show™".  The show will feature discussion, design, fabrication, assembly, implementation and use of equipment, which will supply energy generated from locally available sources.   These sources will include bio waste such as garbage and wood, wind, solar, geothermal and energy crops.  The systems we build and operate on the show will be micro sized to prove or disprove the technologies.  We will also feature energy conservation devices to meet our housing and transportation needs in the most energy efficient manner.  We will make alternative and energy conservation devices available on a sliding fee scale basis so lower income people can share energy and money conservation advantages. Our long-term visions include implementing the technologies we find to work on a small scale by constructing larger facilities that will allow our communities to become energy producers rather that energy consumers.

     In these times of recession and high unemployment everybody is constantly hitting us all up for money. We have been spending our own money working toward becoming energy independent.
