Meet The Pastor

Pastor Roger Pittman was born in Menomonie, Wisconsin. He moved to Rantoul, Illinois as a child and then on to Amarillo, Texas where he graduated from Tascosa High School in 1962. He entered St. Olaf College and graduated in 1966. From there he went to Luther Seminary in St. Paul and graduated in 1970. His first call was to Hope Lutheran Church in Sunburg, MN. He served that parish from 1970 to 1974. His second call was to St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Lindenhurst, Illinois. He served that parish from 1974 until he was called to Lakeside in 1998.
He married Carolyn Merrit on June 3, 1967 in Anoka, Minnesota and had two sons, Steve and Michael.
