We will again have our Mitten Tree. Watch for it after Thanksgiving.

If you are out and about, look for mittens, scarves and hats that will fit children between 4 and 5 years old. These will be given to the “Head Start” program.

RELAY FOR LIFE

The Peregrine Saints Relay for Life team is starting on the 2010 fund raisers and if anyone in the congregation is willing to donate wide mouth quart jars with or without covers and lids, we would really appreciate your generosity. Also, we’re looking for small glass baby jars with covers.
Please contact Karen Brooks at 259-3925 or Dottie McMahon at 259-7727.

Thank you. Karen Brooks

Christmas Cards

Christmas cards are now on sale. They are 3/$1.00. All proceeds go to support ELCA missionaries. If you would like to help, please support the project by purchasing cards, bringing your UNCUT cards to us and we can always use help. We meet the first Monday of each month at 1:00 p.m. If you have any questions, call Ardus Tamlyn at 259-7841.
Cards are 50 cents each.

It has come to the attention of the Social Concerns Committee that there may be a need for a support group for caregivers in our congregation. Members may find themselves caregivers for parents, a sibling, an adult child, grandchildren or even a neighbor or friend. If you are fulfilling one of these caregiver roles and would like some support, please sign the Caregiver Support Sign-Up sheet in the narthex so that the size of the need can be addressed. Thank you.l.
