GREETINGS FROM W/ELCA…
Ruth Peterson has resigned as President of W/ELCA. Barb Burke was Vice President and now has stepped up to President. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Ruth for all the time and work she put into being President. Ruth did an excellent job and has promised she would be available for advice and consultation.
W/ELCA meets every other month on the third Monday. Our next meeting will be July 14th at 9:00 a.m. This will be an exception to the third Monday rule as Esther Haraldson will be here at that time and will present one of her famous chalk talks. We at W/ELCA are working for the women of Lakeside and would appreciate your suggestions and ideas to help serve you better. We ask for your guidance in the name of the Lord.
The W/ELCA Bible study will not be meeting during the summer months and will resume in September.

THANKOFFERING SUNDAY- JUNE 29TH
THE W/ELCA THANKOFFERING SERVICE will be held on Sunday, June 29th. The Thankoffering money will be used to support the ministry of women of the ELCA...to equip women, support them in their calling and be a witness to the church, society and the world.
A special emphasis is, “Women and Children in Crisis.” Resources have been developed to help W/ELCA do this work. Stewardship resources have also been developed to make a difference in our stewardship on the earth.
