Drawings: in watercolor wash

taken from sculpture

I have just relinked this older web page to pay my respects to the late Richard H. Helzer, my sculpture teacher at PCC Rock Creek, 1940-2006. Meeting him during a drawing class that combined some work with sculpture back in 2003 kindled an interest in that medium for me that led to finally committing to take his clay figure sculpture courses in 2005-2006. Thanks to him I have grown to love sculpting - his joy in it was so contagious.. I will continue sculpting, and every sculpture I make for the rest of my life will be in homage to him.
