OUR TRAVELS CONTINUE

There are many places to visit and explore near our home in Montana.
|
One of our favorites is Glacier National Park. About 35 miles north, we go as often as time permits. With such breath taking scenery how could we stay away. |

| Some of the photos of Glacier Natl. Park were taken by Breann Sledge while visiting us from Alaska. |

This visit was during the end of August, an early snow created a shroud of fog to play about the mountain peaks. |

| About 45 minutes northeast of Glacier National Park on Hwy 2 is "The Goat Lick". Here on steep shale cliffs are salt deposits that attract Mountain Goats. Below the cliffs is the Middle Fork of the Flathead River. | ![]() |

| Another fun day trip is a visit to the National Bison Range in Moise Montana. We were very lucky to see not only buffalo on this trip but antelope, deer and a mother bear with her 2 cubs.

We also took note that the song is correct - the antelope and deer did indeed play while the buffalo roamed. |
