When we tell folks we live in Montana, their first question is "Isn't it COLD?" My answer back to them is always "Yes, it gets cold - but it is so PEACEFUL." |

Once spring comes and the snow melts we start cleaning up and burning downed limbs. |
| But as you can see in this series of photos April snows often delay our work |

Within a few days it melts. |
| With the melting snow, comes the growing grass and our frequent deer visitors. |  |
| Here is our latest toy. We named it "Ol' Paint", because at our age we thought it was a bit safer to see the back country in this rather than horseback. |  |

As the sun sets, deer are often found grazing in the meadow across the road as well as our own. |
| Rainbows frequently span our meadow, though we have yet to find
the pot of gold.
