Second Wind Rose petals, soft as silk, Riding on streams of air. Where they fly, where they
land, They haven't any care. Falling to earth, joining the
rest, Every flight must end. Stretching out along the
earth, To catch a second wind. Melissa Davis - Haskell F You You're the sunlight in my morning, You're the starlight of my night. You're the voice that truly matters, You make wrong things come out right. You're the fresh air, which I breathe, You're the clear blue sky above. And I am forever blessed, To be the woman that you love. Melissa Davis - Haskell Last Call A thousand tortured voices Growing louder in my head Silent screams and endless
dreams Seeking rest among the
dead Their emotions violate me Their anger fear and pain And when one presence
disappears A thousand more remain Something in me called to
them But the reason wasn't
clear And I followed them for
answers To a place so very near And in my own reality I found a place that could
not be A place among the restless
dead Who suffer just like me I walked among the
countless souls In a place nowhere at all A place meant for the
suffering Somewhere past last call Melissa
Davis - Haskell Broken
Memories How can
someone tell the truth, of a past that should not be? Memories of
broken dreams, that once belonged to me. Everything I
ever wanted, everything I've ever had. Ripped and
torn apart, I watched it all go bad. A childhood
spent believing, in all the others lies. It's easy just
to walk away, yet no one ever tries. I'm not sure
where it started, or why I let it last. I struggle
just to make it fade, to remember it is past. I tell the
stories how I like, and to me it all is true. I never added
anything, just left out a fact or two. And my life is
all my own, as I face each coming day. Thinking that
tomorrow, I may learn to walk away. Melissa Davis - Haskell
