THE REGULAR MONTHLY COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING MEETING OF THE TOWN OF HUNTER IS HELD THE FIRST TUESDAY OF EVERY MONTH AT 6:30 P.M. Unless otherwise noted.

COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING COMMSSION MEETING of Oct. 5th, 2010

Place: Hunter Town Hall            

Leonard Eckerly called meeting to order

Time: 6:35 pm

Present:  Leonard Eckerly, Cheryl Treland,  Steve George, Gerry Brodsky, Jackie Eckerly (secretary)

Absent:    Doug Kurtzweil

RE:
1. Jack Harris, 3-year renewal of conditional use permit
2. Construction of a 56'x 26' accessory building on vacant property
3. Steve George's appointment for another 1year term.

Minutes: A motion to approve the Sept, 2010 minutes made by Cheryl and 2nd by Steve. Motion carried.  

1. A motion was made by Gerry and 2nd by Cheryl to approve the renewal of conditional use permit
    #02-023 for a non-metallic mineral extraction, including screening. Motion carried

2. A motion was made by Steve and 2nd by Gerry to approve the construction of a 56'x 26' accessory  
    building with the following conditions.
   1. The maximum height of the sidewalls of the building can only be 10 feet.
   2. No rental - can't be a commercial building.
   3. This lot should be added to the deed with the south lot across the street and sold as one.
   4. This north lot if sold separate needs to have a septic system in order to be sold.

3. Leonard made a motion to have Steve George appointed for another year. This motion was 2nd by Cheryl, motion carried.

A discussion took place agreeing that we should mail out a card notifying future applicants of the time and place for the Comprehensive Planning Commission meeting.  This will enable them to answer and discuss any questions the commission has.  This should be done prior to their attending the  monthly Town of Hunter Board meeting.

A motion was made to adjourn at 7:15pm by Len and 2nd by Cheryl.
