ABOUT US |
Our farm is located in the historic Hayhurst Valley, located a few miles west of Yoncalla, Oregon. We have 83 acres of mixed forest and bottom land in a small valley lying along the eastern margins of the Oregon Coast Range at the northern most extension of the Umpqua River basin. A small year round stream, Billy Creek, named for the pioneer settler of the valley, William "Uncle Billy" Hayhurst, supports narrow riparian wetlands bordered by fertile alluvial bottom lands and adjacent remnants of the original oak savannah forests. Above our hills are graced with firs and ferns. We are now in our 19th year farming here providing healthy garden starts and produce for consumers in Douglas and Lane Counties. Our garden starts are sold in independent retail Nursery outlets, such as Down To Earth Garden Stores, Gray's Garden Centers and Market of Choice, as well as, at our Farmers' Market stands several days of the week. |
