Woven Dragon Fly Nymph

Size 6 to 10 size standard nymph hook, 2x long. Leather from a old shoe, cut into two equal sized pieces on each side of the hook. Brown 6/0 Brown Chenille Brown rabbit hair, I used some from a rabbit zonker strip. Brown and Charteuse standard size ultra chenille wooven, over the leather underbody. A natural hen saddle hackle feather head cemented for durability. This is a great fly year round in lakes and slow moving streams, where dragon fly nymphs are common food for trout.
