Tying Steps (Click on Pictures for a bigger image):

Step 1:  Put the bead on and wrap lead wire around the hook shank 10 - 13 times.  Start the thread just behind the lead wire and use to to secure the wire in place.

Step 2:  Get two opposing white goose boits and tie them in so that they are about a 1/2 of the shank in length.

Step 3:   Next tie in the copper wire for the rib.

Step 4:  Dub the body up to about 80% from the bend of the hook, be sure not to dub the body to thick, the thiner the better.

Step 5:  Wrap the copper wire forward for the rib.

Step 6: Next tie in the flashabou followed by the thin skin.  The thin skin should be tied in so that the shiny side is facing down.

Step 7:  Now dub the thorax, leaving about 5% of the shank behind the bead free.

Step 8:  Tie in the partridge feather for legs, to make this easier cut the feather so that there is a V at the top, the legs should be about 1/3 of the shank in length.

Step 9:  Pull the thin skin and flashabou over the top of the thorax and secure it with the thread.  Cut of the excess thin skin and flashabou and whip finish/ head cememt.

Step 10:  Cover the back of the fly with 5 minute epoxy, and allow it time to dry.
