Size 16 - 22 dry fly such as a Tiemco 100 8/0 Olive Grey marabou and z-lon Olive or dark olive dubbing Deer or Elk hair Dark Dun This pattern can be altered easily. The Calibaetis cripple (below) is the same basic pattern, but is tied on a #14 - 18 hook, with an olive CDC shuck, a gray dubbing or marabou body and grizzly hackle instead of dark dun. |
