Step 1:  Put the bead on and start the thread just behind it.  Step 2: Tie about a 4" strand of pearl crystal flash in and wrap it back just beyond the bend of the hook.  Wrap the thread forward to about the bend of the hook and tie in the marabou.   Wrap the thread around the base of the marabou like you would with a parachute post about 5 times.  This should cause the tail to stand up at a slight angle.
