Showable stock
starts at $40 A rabbit sold of showable quality is guaranteed to be free of disqualifications at the time of sale. Since people care for their rabbits in many different ways, many things can change from the time an animal is sold, but they will be not DQ-able at the time of sale. Pricing increases with Registration, Grand Championship, Legs, and when proven on the show table. Breeding stock starts at $25 A breeding animal may be unshowable due to minor faults , non-genetic disqualifications (such as an injury or broken nail) and in the case of a doe-may not be carry the dwarfing gene. A breeding animal may also be of a non-recognized variety, but capable of producing showable colored babies. Pets Rabbits sold as pets are often available. Pedigrees are available for a slight extra charge but these animals are not recommended to be used in a breeding program.
This is only to be used as a reference as pricing may change to accommodate for special situations such as giving a multiple rabbit purchase discount, to free up cage space, or buyers financial needs. I believe this is to be a hobby that everyone should be able to reasonably afford without having to bury themselves financially. Remember this is suppose to be fun as well as competitive.........
