This photo was taken 9/00 as I had to push the Fairlane out of the garage while installing a warmed up 200 in my '62 Falcon Futura. I hate to see this car in the light as I don't have the $$$ to put it back on the road right now. I have the original, numbers matching 428 Cobra Jet and C6 safely stashed away for "someday when my ship comes in."
This photo was taken shortly after I bought the car while stationed in Las Vegas circa 1986. I drove it for about 6 monhs before pulling the engine and transmission for a rebuild. I had a short-lived intention of installing the engine in my FE equipped'72 F250 4X4. It never made it, and a stout 429 found its way into the truck instead.
