New Precision Key announced. The 4020 Standard. Judging by the images, this replica appears to be an early style 4020 diesel in the standard (wheatland) configuration. The standard 4020 differs from the popular 'row-crop' tractor with rounded rear fenders, lower profile and shorter wheel base. Additional features found on the replica are a three pint hitch, precleaner screen, rear wheel weights and front weights. Look for this tractor to be available this fall. |

Snooze and loose! The Precision Key tractors have a shorter production run than the original Precision Classic line. 1 through 4 have all been eliminated from the latest Ertl order form as of February 25 2008. The number 4 Precision Key, 420 w/ disk, has only been available to order for a little over a year and stock has already been depleted at Ertl. In comparison, the extremely valuable number 4 4020 Wide Front of the original line was in the catalogs for well over two years. We will continue to find sources of old stock of the Precision Key series but of course they will come with a higher price tag. So consider purchasing the Precision Key series replica immediately upon availability. You snooze, you loose! |
