The Rev. Edith Bird

Rev. Edie has served in the ordained ministry since 1989
in Oklahoma, New Mexico and Arkansas. She served as
vicar of St. James', Eureka Springs (1999 - 2008)
developing ministries in Christian education, worship,
pastoral care, spiritual direction and contemplative
prayer in Eureka Springs, Berryville and Holiday Island.
She is excited to be at St. Thomas a Becket and to
help the congregation continue in its mission and
ministries in Barry County. She has two children, Rachel
who attends Hendrix College, and Brendan, still in high school.
