| The meeting was opened with prayer by Mother Edie. Minutes for the December 2011 Meeting were read and approved via motion by Kory, seconded by Jim. Motion carried. The minutes for the Annual Meeting on January 15th were corrected from: "A motion made by Ken to nominate John as delegate to the convention." and amended to read: "A motion was made by Ken to nominate Dan Philbrick as delegate to the convention." The corrected minutes were approved in a motion made by Kory, seconded by Jim, motion carried. Priest's Remarks: Report attached. Inclusive in the report, Mother Edie reiterated some of her duties. She spoke a little about the responsibilities of the Bishop's Committee. Treasurer's Report: Attached. A motion was made by Herb, seconded by Kory to accept the report, motion carried. Old Business: Parochial & ECHO Reports. David spoke about the funding and distribution of a $75,000 grant from the Diocese; with the churches of ECHO agreeing to picking up (or covenant) the remaining $25,000. David stated that our present assessment is the same amount. The funding will help provide training for lay people in the performance of duties that don't require the services of a priest. David reported that there is a time line of 6 years to complete this project; otherwise we will lose the grant. See report. A motion made by Kory and seconded by Jo Anne that the report be accepted. Motion carried. Herb mentioned the request David Myers made that his retirement gift be used for the church. It was suggested that we spend the $300 on a Sanctus bell. A motion made by Herb, seconded by Jo Anne that this be done. Motion carried. New Business: None. The date for the next meeting is 4/22/12. There being no further business, a motion was made by David, seconded by Kory. Motion carried. Submitted
