A Database System stores attributes and their values for each client.
A network filesystem stores the database.
Immigration pro on each computer connects to the shared database.
Software can select data into a spreadsheet.

Each computer has a network interface card (NIC).
Each network interface connects to a central access point.
Connections may be with a wire or by wireless.

Verizon FIOS provides a plug which connects to the internet (WAN).
A router connects the local network to Verizon FIOS.
The router provides a gateway to (and from) the internet.
