The Buick Gets A New Set of Wheels

One of the many things to see and do at "Cruisin The Coast" is the swap meet at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum and Convention Center. The area is easily accessible and they have a lot of vendors make the meet. While browsing around one afternoon my wife noticed a set of chrome reverse rims with baby moon hub caps. First thing she said was how nice they would look on BOB. She talked to the seller and determined that they would fit our Buick. He offered us quite a deal on the set of four. When he saw we were not ready to "cash & carry" he gave us his card and said to contact him when we were ready. He said he was able to give a better deal on these because the person that ordered them decided not to buy them, so if this set was gone the price would be a bit more.

The rest of the day anytime Debbie saw a set of those wheels she would say how nice they would look on our Buick, and I would agree. The only issue I had was they weren't quite in the budget at that time. However we did have a few dollars set aside to spend some time at the casino along the coast. That night after dinner at a local excellent fresh fish restaurant we decided to try our luck. I had a little bit of luck and was having a good time, a little ahead, but not a lot. And Debbie kept talking about how nice those wheels would look. We went separate ways for a while and continued to play the slots for a while.

About an hour later here comes Debbie with a big grin on her face, excited as all get out. First thing she said was "were going back to the swap meet tomorrow morning to get BOB's new wheels, I hit a jackpot!

First thing we did the next day was pick up the wheels at the swap meet. We then headed for a local Tire shop and had them installed. And, like always, Debbie was right. They do look great!
