 Joan O. Ewaldsen | In 1980 a small group of 'transplanted Lutherans' began to worship together in the form and tradition they had so dearly loved back home . Today, that faithful few has grown into a lively and committed congregation, a fellowship of love and adoration for the Lord Jesus Christ . From several families gathered in private homes to this lovely building we dedicated in 1990. Cherokee Village Lutheran Church, ELCA, continues to answer God's call to serve Him through service to His children . We proudly and humbly preach the Good News, teach His flock, and administer the Holy Sacraments in faithfulness to the Bible and our tradition . Thanks be to God for His mercy and grace !
